Our Guitar Summer Camp invites youth ages 11–18 to learn iconic Mexican and Mexican-American guitar styles in a fun, hands-on environment. Whether you're just starting out or already playing, this camp helps you grow your skills while connecting with culture and community.
Styles Covered: Norteña, Cumbias, Rancheras, Corridos, and Traditional Folk
Learn music by artists like:
Juan Gabriel, Fuerza Regida, Julión Álvarez, Conjunto Primavera, Los Tigres del Norte, Remmy Valenzuela, and more.
🎼 What You’ll Learn
Chords (Acordes) to play your favorite songs
Solos (Requintos) to add flair and expression
Melodic Lines (Adornos) that bring songs to life
How to sing and play at the same time — like a true performer!
📅 Camp Schedule
Start Date: Week of June 16, 2025
Days: Mondays and Wednesdays
Times:
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Choose the plan that works best for you:
Standard Plan – 8 classes (2 per week): $135
Extended Plan – 16 classes (4 per week): $245
🎤 Both plans include a final concert at the MACC auditorium with professional sound and lighting — a true on-stage performance experience!
